Haiz.. What can I say about Singaporeans.. See for yourselves.. Their true colours will be out durin certain timings.. Especially just after office hour.. I dont mind standin, I dont fight for seats if I see any and I dont blame ppl rushin to get a seat once they saw one. But some are just so inconsiderate..
There was once a pregnant woman boarded the train I was in, I saw her and gave up my seat to her. Good civilian eh~ Just when I was about to call for her over to take my seat, a guy in his late 20s rushed over and took it even though he saw the pregnant woman.. Zzz..
"Excuse me. I'm givin up this seat for this PREGNANT lady over here." I told him while holdin her over to my seat.
"How the hell I know ah." He looked at me and gave me the I'm-the-boss look..
"Common sense la.. You saw her didnt you?" At least he stood up so I didnt continue arguin with him.
Another incident happened after a tiring day (actually this happens everyday), I took a short nap when I was lucky to board an almost empty train. Weird I thought.. When I finally woke up, I find myself in Newton.. I was headin to AMK from Yew Tee!! I quickly exited and boarded the train back again.. It was packed with people.. Felt like I was one of the sardine fish packed inside a tin.. Slowly I was squeezed to the middle of the train.
"Ding dong~ Next stop, Ang Mo Kio."
When the train gradually stopped I tried to squeeze my way out.. But I cant!!
"Excuse me.."
"Excuse me~"
"Excuse me!!"
I kept repeatin and tried to wriggle out of the sardine can. Just when I was about to step out of the train, the passengers boardin the train rushed in!! Back into the train I went~ Y cant they just let the ppl alightin to get out 1st before they board!! There's always more than enough time to wait and then go in.. In the end I have to alight at Yishun.. Poor me..
Honestly, I sometimes felt disgraceful to be a Singaporean.. Same logic as the lift, ppl boardin should let those alightin out 1st. There'll be sufficient time to alight and board. No point makin one another's life difficult.. Lastly to all those fightin fit ppl out there. You wont die from standin, give up your seats to those who needs them more than you!!
